Strong operating results, launch of new technology and expanded service team position Avantix Global for continued growth in 2010.
Despite a difficult global business environment Avantix is delighted to announce that our company grew revenue year over year in 2009 and enjoyed a 5th straight year of profitability. This was achieved by a focus on providing value added solutions to key clients who continue to expand relationships with Avantix. We are very thankful to those clients for their commitment to our partnerships and we look forward to continuing to serve them and others in 2010.
Avantix also established a strong new partnership with the worlds leading maker of microchips and processors to provide integrated software development and localization services from our Beijing China facility. This new relationship promises to open new markets for Avantix and will be a strong profit center for Avantix in 2010.
2009 also saw the launch of KeyTermQA, an industry first cloud based linguistic QA toolset. This toolset has been key to our ability to produce quality localizations on short turn-arounds for our clients. By releasing the tool into the cloud during 2009, clients have benefitted by being able to use the toolset on product releases with other suppliers. In 2010 Avantix will continue to invest in this valuable and differentiating technology. Look for exciting announcements in Q1!
Investing is people in 2009 is also a reason 2010 starts on a strong note. While many service providers reduced headcount in 2009 Avantix made key hires in client services at our US and China locations. These new Project Managers and localization professionals will help us continue to grow our strong client relationships in the new year.
